Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Welcome to All India Packers and Movers. By booking our services, signing our consignment notes, or utilizing our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following detailed terms and conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the client) and All India Packers and Movers. Please review these clauses carefully before initiating your relocation.
1. Booking, Quotation, and Pre-Move Survey
All estimates and quotations generated online or during physical surveys are based on the specific inventory list provided by the client. Any addition of goods, change in volume, change in distance, or modification of packing material quality on the shifting day will result in a revised quotation.
Our standard quotation is valid for 15 days from the date of issuance. Shifting dates must be confirmed at least 48 hours in advance to ensure slot availability.
2. Prohibited, Hazardous, and High-Value Items
Hazardous Items: All India Packers and Movers strictly prohibits the packing, loading, and transit of dangerous or inflammable goods. This includes gas cylinders (empty or filled), liquid chemicals, acids, paint thinners, kerosene, diesel, petrol, battery liquids, firecrackers, ammunition, and other hazardous items.
High-Value Items: The client is strictly advised to pack and personally carry jewelry, gold, cash, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, legal deeds, property documents, key sets, stamp papers, and sensitive office storage devices. The company will not be liable for the loss of unregistered valuables under any circumstances.
3. Packing, Loading, and Vehicle Storage
Our professional crew uses premium multi-layered packing materials (such as air bubble wraps, corrugated boxes, foam sheets, stretch films, and edge guards) to protect your items.
If the destination building lacks a functional lift or elevators, and shifting must be executed via stairs above the 2nd floor, additional labor charges ("stair handling fees") will apply as outlined in the invoice. Similarly, if the shifting truck cannot be parked within 50 meters of the gate, "long carry" charges will apply.
4. Payment Terms, Surcharges, and Cancellation
To finalize a shifting booking, a token advance amount is required. The balance payment must be settled in full either at the time of loading at the source location or before the vehicle is unloaded at the destination.
We accept UPI, Net Banking, credit/debit cards, and cash. Delayed payments will attract a late fee surcharge of 2% per week. Cancellation of booking within 24 hours of scheduled shifting will result in the forfeiture of the token advance amount.
5. Transit Insurance and Damage Claims
While we maintain the highest standards of safety, transit risks do exist. We recommend clients opt for our comprehensive **Transit Insurance (1.5% to 3% of declared value)**.
In case of any damage, it must be reported in writing on the inventory sheet at the time of unloading. Damage claims filed after unloading completion or after the crew has left the premises will not be entertained. The company's role is strictly limited to assisting with the submission and processing of claims with the insurance partner.
6. Force Majeure and Delays
All India Packers and Movers shall not be liable for delivery delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes extreme weather conditions, landslides, floods, strikes, regional blockades, state border closure regulations, toll system breakdowns, road accidents, or national lockdowns.
